TouchX vs Mosaic Pro: which Tixa panel is right for your wall?
Both are smart. One is a glass touch panel, the other a modular plate with physical switches and sockets. Here is how to choose.

Quick answer: Choose TouchX when you want a flat glass surface with touch points and scene keys, typically in living rooms, bedrooms and entrances. Choose Mosaic Pro when a wall needs physical switches, sockets or USB charging on one plate, typically kitchens, study desks and bedside walls. Many Tixa homes use both.
TouchX in one paragraph
TouchX is a magnetic glass touch panel available in black, white and warm grey. Layouts run from two to eight touch points on a single plate, with dedicated scene keys for things like ‘Movie’, ‘Night’ or ‘Guests’. It replaces your existing switch plate and connects to Tixa retrofit modules behind it, so no rewiring is needed.
Mosaic Pro in one paragraph
Mosaic Pro is a modular plate. You mix smart touch controls, a 16A socket, a USB charger and conventional switches in whatever order the wall needs. It is for the places where you plug things in as often as you switch things on.
Side by side
Look and feel: TouchX is a single sheet of glass; Mosaic Pro is a composed plate with visible modules.
Sockets and USB: Mosaic Pro only. TouchX is controls only.
Scenes: both support scenes; TouchX gives them a dedicated key on the glass.
Fan dimming: both support fan speed control through the Tixa module.
Best rooms: TouchX for living, bedrooms and entrances; Mosaic Pro for kitchen counters, desks and bedsides.
Retrofit: both fit standard Indian switch boxes without new wiring.
How to decide, wall by wall
Stand at the wall and list what you switch and what you plug in.
If the list has a socket or charger on it, choose Mosaic Pro.
If it is lights, fans and scenes only, choose TouchX.
Keep one finish across the house so the two panels read as a family.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use TouchX and Mosaic Pro in the same room?
Yes. A common bedroom layout is TouchX at the door and Mosaic Pro at the bedside for the lamp, a socket and USB charging.
Do both work with the Tixa app and voice assistants?
Yes. Every load behind either panel appears in the Tixa app and can be used in scenes, schedules and voice commands.
Which one is cheaper?
It depends on the layout. Ask for a wall-by-wall quote; the difference is usually smaller than the difference in how you use the wall.
Key takeaways
TouchX is glass and controls; Mosaic Pro is modular with sockets.
Decide per wall, not per house.
Both retrofit into existing boxes and share the same app.
