Low battery doesn’t have to leave you outside.
USB-C provides emergency power for access. After entering, replace or recharge the internal battery as specified for your selected model. The USB-C connection supplies temporary power for unlocking; it does not necessarily recharge the internal battery.

BLE and remote access are different requirements. Tell us if you need access while away from home so we can confirm connectivity and any gateway required.
On supported models, a power bank connected to the USB-C port beneath the lock provides emergency power for unlocking. Follow the selected model’s instructions for replacing or recharging its internal batteries.

Available access methods vary by model. Confirm fingerprint, PIN, card, key, app access and any remote functions for the exact lock in your quotation.
What happens when the lock battery runs low?
Low-battery alerts, backup access and emergency power options depend on the model. Check its guide and keep the supported backup method accessible.
Does a smart lock need Wi-Fi?
It depends on the lock and the functions you want. Remote access may need a compatible connection or gateway. Tixa confirms what is included and what needs an extra accessory.
