A home that responds.
Have a light respond when you walk in, or get an alert when a door opens. We’ll help choose the sensor and controls needed for your home.

Lights or alerts that respond to a sensor
Some sensors need a hub, a small device that connects them to the system. We confirm this for your setup. Home automation sensors do not replace certified safety systems.

right questions.
Tell us what you’d like to do at home. If you have a switchboard photo, door photo or floor plan, share it with us. We’ll explain the options and cost.
What can a smart sensor do?
Depending on the model, a sensor can detect motion, presence, a door opening or other supported changes. Compatible devices can use these events for a scene, a switch action or an alert.
Do Zigbee sensors need a hub?
Yes. HomeSync Zigbee sensors need a compatible hub. Confirm compatibility with Tixa before combining a sensor, hub and automation.
What is the difference between motion and presence sensing?
A motion sensor detects movement. A human-presence sensor may detect smaller movements, depending on the model and placement. The room layout, range and settings affect how either sensor works.
Which wardrobe sensor should I choose?
Choose a single-door or double-door sensor to match the wardrobe and lighting arrangement. We also check the strip, power supply and supported electrical ratings before recommending the set.
Can a scene remote or panic button trigger different actions?
On a compatible setup, these controls can trigger a scene, a switch action, notifications or alerts. The available actions depend on the device and configuration. They are not a replacement for a dedicated emergency response service.
